Liquid Heating Burners

The ImmersoJet (IJ)

The ImmersoJet (IJ) is a nozzle-mix tube-firing burner that is designed to fire at high velocities through small diameter immersion tubes.

The combustion gases from the burner scrub the inner tube surface and produce high heat transfer rates. This, in combination with the high velocity flow through the smaller diameter tubes allows for system efficiencies in excess of 80%.

The smaller IJ tubes also have smaller bends which means less tank space is occupied by the tubes. With a combustion chamber that is integral to the burner body, the new version of the ImmersoJet can sit lower on the tank than previous IJ models.

Eclipse Immerso-Pak Burners (IP)

Eclipse Immerso-Pak Burners (IP) are packaged burners that are easy to install, simple to operate, and offer long service life in industrial environments.

They are ideal for heating immersion tubes on cleaning tanks, spray washers, salt baths, quenching tanks, tempering tanks, asphalt tanks and similar equipment. IP burners are available with two different valve train packages, as detailed on page 2. With the standard valve train, simply mount the burner on the immersion tube and connect gas and electricity.

Operate the burner, just turn the burner switch on or off as required.

ImmersoPak V2

The ImmersoPak (Series IP version 2.00) is a nozzle-mix burner with a packaged combustion air blower that is designed to fire on-ratio (proportional air/gas control) or fixed air on smaller models over a turndown of 10:1. Integral gas and air orifices are provided to ease burner setup. The burner is designed for:

  • efficient ratio controlled combustion

  • direct spark ignition
  • multiple fuel capability

A wide variety of options and configurations are available due to the modular design of the burner.

TF and TFR Burner

TF and TFR Burner Advantages:

  • Pre-packaged, pre-piped complete assembly
  • The TFR burner series has been designed with a small footprint allowing mounting in applications where other burners may not fit.

  • FM and IRI gas trains available
  • TF burners are intended for applications with conventional sized firing tubes with diameters up to 12″ and length to diameter ratios up to 80:1 depending on tube diameter.
  • TF burner nominal thermal capacities range from 170,000 to 3,300,000 Btu/hr.
  • TFR burners are specifically designed to maximize the heat release in small diameter tubes 2-1/2″ through 8″ and length to diameter ratios up to 150:1.
  • TFR burner nominal thermal capacities range from 240,000 to 2,600,000 Btu/hr.
  • Depending on immersion tube selection, TF and TFR burner applications can produce thermal efficiencies of over 80%.
  • To prevent overheating of the TFR burner components and immersion tubes at high firing rates, the burner has been designed with a split combustion cone head where air is introduced into the flame at three points to provide cooling.
  • The firing tube is cooled so it will not discolor or blister paint including the surrounding area and mounting flange of equipment.
  • Meets NFPA standards including double solenoid pilots on the pilot gas line.
  • Supplied for operation on natural gas or propane. Can be supplied to operate with other gas types.
  • Complete pre-wired flame safeguard.
  • The electrical enclosure and all internal components are either UL Listed or UL Recognized.
