Frequently Asked Questions About Solar Panels
Just guessing… you have no idea if you qualify for solar and don’t have any clue where to start. Since we aim to take the guesswork out of solar, we thought we’d address some common myths and misconceptions and set the record straight.
Got a Grudge with The Grid?
Many people believe that solar can power their entire facility. Unfortunately, this is rarely the case. For one, most of the time roof space doesn’t allow for enough power density as it relates to the conversion efficiency of the panels. For two, most businesses pay considerably less for their nighttime use than their daytime use and since the sun only shines during the day, it makes more sense to buy from your utility at night.
A Typical Solar Installation can:
- Displace 10-40% of a facility’s reliance on the grid.
- Improve the bottom line
- Stabilize your operating costs
- Solar energy gives any business an economic and marketing competitive advantage
- Instantly add to your property value
- Improve your image – environmentally conscious consumers seek out environmentally conscious businesses
